World-wide Church Leader Visits LDS Children in Sydney

“Heavenly Father knows each of you,” children are told

Primary children in the Summer Hill Ward in Sydney had a surprise visitor in July. Sister Bonnie H. Cordon, 2nd Counsellor in the General Primary Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, spoke briefly to the entire congregation and then spent the rest of her day visiting with the young children.

Sister Cordon told the children that Heavenly Father knows and loves each of them individually. "He knows each of you, regardless of where you live and what language you speak", she said, and concluded expressing her witness that the Gospel brings much happiness.

Sister Cordon commended music leader Josie Pownall on her dedication, and encouraged the local Primary leaders to continue to love and serve the Primary children, adding that they are special souls.
