The Big Book of Mormon Returns to Melbourne's Federation Square

Early in February The Church of Jesus Christ placed in Melbourne's Federation Square a three meter tall booth resembling a giant copy of The Book of Mormon with an invitation to "discover what's inside."

On 27– 28 February the Book of Mormon display was set up in the Amphitheatre which is an entry point to Federation Equate opposite St. Paul's Cathedral. Then on 3-5 and 10-13 March it will be set up at Federation Square, ending its run in Melbourne.

“Due to the musical, the name Mormon is in people's minds more than any other time in Australia”, said Melbourne Mission President Peter Vidmar. He reports that 69,000 visitors have gone to Mormon.org.au, with self-referrals, web interest and the number of copies of the Book of Mormon given away, all up impressively from previous levels.
