New Leadership for Sydney Australia Temple

News Release

Richard Harvey Osmotherly from the Sydney Australia Harbour Stake (diocese) has been called as president of the Sydney Australia Temple, succeeding President W. F. Lionel Walters. President Osmotherly’s wife, Anne-Marie Mauger Osmotherly, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Marianne Walters. He is a former bishop and temple worker.

                 

A retired real estate manager for the LDS Church, he was born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, to William George and Beverly Joan Osmotherly.

Sister Osmotherly is a Primary teacher and temple worker and a former leader of the Young Women Relief Society. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia, to Alan Harris and Vola Olive Mauger.
