Melbourne CBD Site of Interfaith Dinner

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints joined with members of 20 other religious and cultural organizations in Melbourne's CBD as part of UN World Interfaith Harmony Week 2016.

It was an inspirational evening in the heart of Melbourne with St Paul’s Cathedral as a backdrop and the group doing what Melbournians do best, connecting with people through conversation over great food!

Pania King, a member of the Church who attended said, "There was an amazing feeling of unity as we ate and talked together. There were so many diverse and interesting backgrounds, but no barriers, just people having a chat over dinner, coming together and forming friendships."

A respect for the beliefs and unique contributions of all faiths is one of the hallmarks of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as expressed in the Church's Articles of Faith.
