Interfaith Group Marches in Unity

The Sydney Hebersham Stake (diocese) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is an active member of the local Blacktown Network of Faith Communities interfaith group organized in Blacktown City, NSW.  Missionaries and church members recently marched in unity and interfaith harmony with members of the Sant Nirankari Mission in the annual Blacktown Festival Parade held in Blacktown City on Main Street.

This year marks the fourth year in which the Church has participated in this parade, which attracted several thousand spectators from the Blacktown Local Government area. President David Harper of Hebersham Stake stated of the event, "The Church's continued involvement with the community has broadened as we have partnered with other faiths in fostering unity and service through shared values and religious harmony".
