Church Leader Shares Easter Message of Peace

Five Christian leaders were recently asked to share an Easter message for The Advertiser in Adelaide, Australia. Rainer Korte of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was one of the five. He currently serves as Stake (diocese) President of the Adelaide Firle Stake.

In his message, President Korte asked, "In a world of increasing physical, social, political and religious turmoil, how do we find peace in our lives? How do we deal with challenges and afflictions and experience peace at the same time?"

He suggests that following the example and teachings of Christ can "provide an inner peace that surpasses the peace found elsewhere in the world."

President Korte adds, "At Easter, members of the Church join with Christians everywhere in remembering Christ's sacrifice for us and His resurrection. Through Him we can find peace and joy in our circumstances, whatever they may be."
