Church Leader Elder Gary E. Stevenson to Visit Adelaide

Church members in Adelaide are preparing to welcome Elder Gary E. Stevenson, an Apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to their city.

Elder Stevenson and his wife Lesa will visit Adelaide on August 19 - 21 as part of a visit to the South Pacific. This will be Elder Stevenson’s first visit to Australia. His official itinerary also includes Vanuatu and Tahiti.

Elder Stevenson was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on 3rd October 2015. As part of his responsibilities, he travels throughout the world as a representative of Jesus Christ, building faith, providing instruction and blessing and uplifting all to whom he will meet.

They are expected to address church members at conferences held throughout Adelaide. Elder Craig A. Cardon, a member of the Pacific Area Presidency, and his wife Deborah will accompany the Stevensons during their visit. They will also be joined by local leader Elder Paul Lekias and his wife Rebecca.
