Victorian Youth Farewell the Big Book of Mormon in Federation Square

Young Single Adult members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from greater Melbourne farewelled the big Book of Mormon on Federation Square in a flash mob appearance on 11th March. Over 100 singers assembled one or two at a time to sing a favourite arrangement by Janice Kapp Perry of the hymns As Sisters in Zion/We'll Bring the World His Truth.

Surprised passersby stopped to listen and snap photos and videos on their cellphones.

Florence Cowl from Maroondah described her experience, “I was humbled to be one of the female soloists who kicked off the flash mob in front of the Big Book of Mormon. I've never done anything like this before, but it's something I've always wanted to do. It was a lot of fun, very humbling, and we really felt the Spirit.”
