Church Donates Food to Help Fiji Communities After Cyclone

“The DISMAC [disaster management] Office received a timely assistance from The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints with a donation of $21,000 worth of food rations for victims affected by Tropical Cyclone Evan,” reports the Fiji Government Online Portal.
The report continues: “Manager Service Centre LDS Taniela Wakolo said this donation was through the kind generosity of the Church members.”
“These donations will assist people in this great time of need when there is no proper food supply and we at the Church are always forthcoming to provide the support for those in need during such times,” Elder Wakolo said.
