2016 Pacific Area Vision

Every Accomplishment Begins With a Vision

Proverbs 29:18 reads, “Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”  With that in mind the  Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has asked Church members to focus on four key objectives as part of their vision in 2016 to "strengthen families and individuals by increasing faith and trust in Heavenly Father and in Jesus Christ and His Atonement". The objectives are:

1. Honour the Sabbath day at home and at Church
2. Increase Spiritual and Temporal Self-Reliance
3. Hasten the Work of Salvation
4. Seek the blessings of the temple.

Embedded within each of the objectives are specific goals that aim to strengthen individuals and families as they align themselves to the vision of the Area Presidency and strengthen faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Click here for a video message elaborating on this vision.

Church members are asked to discuss ways to implement and personalise these objectives in Church and family councils and in family home evening
